T3 Arena has announced their first-ever official esports event called Arena League in their latest YouTube video. Lazycaz, one of the developers of T3 Arena, shared the plan for the tournament series which is set to start on April 22nd and end on May 28th.

Arena League is a seasonal event designed to run similarly to ranked seasons. The first season, Season 5, is set to take place from April 22nd to May 28th, and is open to two regions only: North America and Japan.

The tournament is divided into three phases, the Qualifiers, Wild Cards, and Seasonal Finals:
Phase One – The Qualifiers are invitational only and will feature 16 teams based on their participation in past community events. The livestreamed Qualifiers will take place on weekends, starting from April 22nd. Four Qualifier winners will then move on to the Seasonal Finals.

Phase Two – The Wild Cards, is an open registration event for everyone. Registration will be open from May 1st to May 7th, and the four Wild Card winners will join the four Qualifier winners in the Seasonal Finals.

Phase Three – The Seasonal Finals will take place on May 27th and 28th, with the eight winners competing to become the Season 5 Champion. The tournament will be livestreamed on YouTube.

Lazycaz expressed T3 Arena’s excitement to bring the best players onto their YouTube channel and showcase the best of T3 Arena. This official esports league will demonstrate how the tournament works with the best teams in the community.

The announcement of Arena League is a significant development for the T3 Arena community. Tournaments have been a small part of the community so far, with the rise of organizers like T3 Dojo, Laveb Esports, and Kings of Arena. The official tournament series is expected to bring more structure and recognition to the competitive community.
